About Surajkund Mela -

Surajkund Mela was first organized in the year 1987. It takes place from 1 to 15 February every year. The fair is known for colorful traditional crafts. Artists, painters, and sculptors from all over the country participate in the fair and display their creative designer objects, which include objects made of wood, glass, bamboo, metal, stone, and iron.

Surajkund International Crafts Mela is organized on 40 acres of land. According to the 2015 edition, the Srijkund Mela attracted over 1.2 million visitors from all states of India as well as several dozen other nations and 200,000 foreigners to witness the colorful traditional craft festival. The Surajkund Mela is truly worth experiencing!

You can explore many attractions in Surajkund without a fair, including Anagpur Dam, Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary, and Surajkund Hot Spring, etc. Apart from this, Siddha Kund, which is a natural spring here, is also located to the south of Surajkund and is frequented by pilgrims.
