Badkhal Lake used to be a picnic spot at one point in time, but at present, it has dried up completely. Many people used to come here to see the birds. However, due to uncontrolled mining and misuse of water in 2009, this lake has dried up at present. However, the local people are trying to bring water back into it. But they say that it is not known how long water will be able to come inside it.
