Special Interest Packages at Camp Wild

Camp Wild is located between two villages, Silakhari & Mangar. This location gives us the benefit of an insight into the rural life of India. Hence we are able to offer many Special Interest packages to our guests such as

  • Rural and village tourism - Experience a powerful program with close interaction with the villagers and their way of life. This is the tourism familiarity at its best. Come meet the colourful, simple and honest folks in the villages who you will remember forever in your life. This is also an opportunity to provide service & giving back to the community.
  • Culinary programs offering – street food, rural food, Tandoor & Grills, Curry cuisines, Punjabi cuisines, Indian deserts etc. We also facilitate camp cooking & arrange cooking classes for those interested in learning to cook in the rural way.
  • The guests are welcome to participate in Community service projects pertaining to health care, medicine and hygiene, education, sports etc.
  • The land features at Camp Wild are appropriate for events designed for off road experience for SUV’s. We have successfully conducted the launches of various SUVs the last being that of Audi’s Q5. Camp Wild also provides grounds & logistics for various shoots like MTV Roadies.



Day 1: CAMP WILD, ARAVALI VALLEY/ VILLAGE ACTIVITIES

PICK UP FROM Hotel-  and drive to Camp Wild at the Aravali Valley

ARRIVE AT CAMP WILD
 – Welcome and room allocations as per the pre decided rooming lists

Welcome tea/ coffee with cookies

Welcome address
  • Briefing of the program and today’s schedule pre & post lunch
  • Division of the group in to teams
  • Portable first aid kits to be ready. Services of an  accompanying doctor for the next 2 days

Welcome & briefing by Chief Farm activities coordinator
PREPARING LUNCH - VILLAGE TRADITIONAL CUISINE. Learn  different cooking techniques used by the villagers
Group to be divided into groups for activities. One activity has to chosen by each group

  • Different chutney making for today’s lunch
  • Pickles making
  • Getting Atta/ dough ready & butter milk for making breads for today’s lunch
  • Vegetables & salad cooking for today’s lunch

  • Disembark at the village Chaupal. Welcome by the village elders. Entire group to be felicitated with marigold garlands and tikka.
  • Visit a freedom fighter who actively participated in the freedom struggle for India. An interesting session
  • Meet the village painter who has discovered his passion of painting late in his life after trying many professions. He has painted beautiful frescoes on the walls of the village. Visit to his home
  • Visit the local museum which restores local arts & crafts
  • Visit an 80 years old lady who stills grinds, cuts fodder manually and actively does all her daily chores. An interesting insight. Few participants to experience manual grinding of wheat.
  • Visit the local school Education. Group to be split into 2 groups
    •  Language exchange program / Poems recital / Books donation etc
      • ( English to Hindi ) & ( Hindi to  English)
    • A mini cricket match with the local boys

  • Use of holy cow’s dung as manure and making of cakes for fuel
